It is remarkable what the team of dedicated experts at the Center for Southeastern Tropical Advanced Remote Sensing (CSTARS) has done to expand access for the scientific community to real-time, high-resolution satellite imagery. CSTARS has provided scientists at the University of Miami and other research institutions with unparalleled satellite images from the southeastern United States, northern South America and beyond since 2003. For researchers, being able to utilize previously inaccessible domains of data in a short amount of time and with great ease is aiding in the development of new and exciting approaches to old scientific problems. CSTARS’s eye-in-the-sky offers up the “big picture;” Read More... Information from the CSTARS FACILITY can be used for:
  • Terrestrial Applications
